All full-sized cards are printed with professional archival inks on high quality 310gsm matt 100% Cotton Rag* Fine Art paper that is both acid + lignin free. 

• This makes them ideally suited for framing if you wish.

• All envelopes are made from 100% recycled 115gsm brown Kraft paper with the LittleMus embossed on the flap.

• Every full-sized Card comes with a recycled paper fastener that is designed to be reused as a handy bookmark and a protective glassine sleeve.

*This paper is soft white with a subtle textured finish that gives the card a velvety premium feel with outstanding colour depth and archival properties

Cotton Rag paper is tree-free and recycled, manufactured using cotton linters (the fuzzy fibres left over from processing that are usually discarded) and/or repurposed textile industry waste.

This reduces reliance on traditional wood pulp and supports the circular use of materials.

I carefully select the paper size and type for each card to complement the individual image.

All of the A7 mini card range are printed with professional archival inks on untreated 250gsm Recycled Eco Fleck* Card. They comes with a 100% recycled 115gsm Eco Kraft envelope with the LittleMus embossed on the flap.

*This card is soft creamy white with a subtle fleck and texture giving a lovely warm look and feel.                                                

As it is recycled there are some slight variations in finish.

The card is FSC® certified – materials used to make the products have been ethically sourced from well-managed and sustainable forests. It contains 5% hemp fibres, 40% recycled material and 55% environmentally friendly fibres.

In the context of art prints, archival refers to the lifespan that a print can be stored without change.

This is not readily quantifiable and no set standards exist as to how long this is!

Nevertheless it is generally accepted that if kept in "optimal storage conditions"  a print should resist deterioration, such as fading and yellowing, for 100+ years.

Much more meaningful is to know how "archival prints" hold up in real life conditions, rather than in a climate controlled vault!

Luckily, tests of this have been done. These show that the inks and Fine Art papers I use are resistant to deterioration for approximately:

• 100+ years in a photo album

• 30-40 years behind glass

• 10 years without glass

As with all pictures, avoid keeping them in bright sunlight or damp conditions.
